One point my friend used in defence of homosexuality was that gender is a mere social construct.
This assumption undermines the planning that when into our designs when our Creator made us. Gender is a property of God. He created Adam and Eve with different roles in mind for each gender. He made us different.
The thought that gender is a construct of man is based on the idea that we are independent of God. It stems from a desire to craft an identity apart from God, the delusion of control over life and all its aspects.
